Kronos woke up with a start as he rolled back onto his stomach, head high with worry, as the wind brushed his body from all sides. As he looked for Freak in a blind panick he finally rejistered the darkness that was surrounding him and the land, the sun finally gone, the last days rays soon following it as the red above the hills slowly dimmed.

As Kronos searched for Freak he soon found her starring somewhere far away beside the pond. Kronos heaved himself up, staggering slightly as his legs woke up from his body's pressure releasing off of them. As Kronos finally found himself standing and feeling normally once more, he wandered over silently to his love, Freak and laid his nose against her side before resting his head against her neck and smilng.

Kronos let his eyes wander across the sky before he looked once at Freak and noticed her attention seeming to be coming back once more to the present. Kronos' smile only broadened as he notice the moon's light snowing her body covered in silver light, shining brightly. Kronos ripped his eyes from Freak's wonderful body as he looked at the stars once more. "They are almost as beautiful as you my Freak." he drawled, voice scrathy and quiet from sleep.

Her figure stood within the light of the moon as she gazed around. Then she began to hear the sound of scrabbling going on behind where she was resting. Unsure of what it was but it had been coming form Kronos' direction.Hearing his figure now as coming up and off of the ground that he had been resting on. Taking in a big deep breath of relief as she tried to enjoy the relaxing moment.

Thorns dancing forwards and then only one falling back when she heard him coming over towards where she was at. Feeling his touch as she turned her head and looked at him with a soft smile upon her face as she felt it slowly move up her side. Turning and facing forwards for a moment before she felt his face press against her boa and her smile widen just a tad bit more.



Words had then begun to feel her thorns as she stood there. 'They are almost as beautiful as you my Freak.' It kind of made her chuckle at just how the words played in her head but she knew her stallion was being so kind to her as always. "Oh stop your making me blush." She said with a soft smile upon her face as she gazed over towards the stallion she cared for.


"Did you sleep well hun?" She asked as she looked over towards her stallion with a soft look within her globes. Flickering her banner side to side for a moment. Then she turned and touched his chest lightly. Wrapping his neck around as if she was hugging the brute. "I'm sorry I was not there when you woke up. I just wanted to let you rest and I was just looking around and making sure no one was there to bother you." She said lightly to him.

She just knew how hard stallions worked to make sure that things were good, but of course. Normally the stallion would do that, but Freak knew that he was really in need of some good rest. Though of course she was ready to see what the bronco would say as she looked to the sight of the equine.

Kronos smirks at Freak's comment before grabbing a small piece of her mane in his lip and tugging to teae her. As freak asked her question, Kronos stopped his tugging, feeling odly like a colt, to take in the face of his love, a smile playing at his lips. "Yes I did, but you my love look exhausted! i believe it is my turn to watch as you sleep" he replied, giving Freak a small nudge with his nose.

As the mare laid her head along his side, Kronos let out a relaxed sigh before shifting beside the larger mare, and trying to urge her on towards their spot under the tree. "Now rest Freak, you must stay strong and well rested. we shall go back to the herd in a few more days." he said, always utchingthe mare wether with his nose or body in general, not wishing to let go of her.

Kronos looked up at the tree as a small breeze picked up, cold air blasting between his tail and legs as the leaves shifted toshow the stars that crouded the sky. Kronos smiled before walking to the other side of the tree, half way up the hill to get a better view of the land surrounding hi and Freak's small isolation. As his hooves thudded on the ground, Kronos noticed the ruins at the land beyond, knowing full well that Lucifer and the rest of his soon to be herd were waiting for hi, yet not knowing he was gone.

((just wondering when we should have the colt, i figured maybe in a week or two, what do you think?))

Freak was just so in love at this point she had no clue what to do with herself. Feeling his mug grab a bit of her mane placed a smile upon her face. Watching as he spoke towards her with just the nicest tone of voice. 'Yes I did, but you my love look exhausted! I believe it is my turn to watch you sleep." Oh how his words were kind and easy in her thorns. Feeling his gentle nudge as she looked at him with a soft smile upon her face.

"Oh you are such a sweet heart to me aren't you?"

Her words of course were nice and kind towards the stallion. Her mind was at peace now as she looked at him. Seeing that he was really wanting her to rest. just so that she can remain with her strength and that they were going to go back to the herd that he had come from. Though there were things that she had wondered as she thought about going back to this herd he lived within.

"Okay hun, but please remain safe."

She knew that he would be safe, but of course she had to say something to him. With her figure turning and lowering to the ground slowly. Laying there for a moment knowing that next time she gets this type or rest it was going to be the kind that she as not going to want to be in. With the pain that will course through her body as she would have to really try and push the little one from out of her body. 

Though as she began to think of it. Her eyes began to close slowly. Her head leaning against the tree as she drifted into slumber. Sighing relief from her mug as she laid there. Dreaming of her new life of happiness. Knowing that the new place that they were going to was not going to be so happy as it seemed to be here at this very place, but Freak did not care. She was going to have a little one by her side and her stud that she has been wishing for since she was a young filly.

After a about an hour of rest. Her eyes began to open slowly. Lifting her figure from the ground and beginning to stretch her figure some. Gazing around with a smile as she started to move around a bit. Going over towards the water's edge and allowing a nicker to leave her lips and to find Kronso. Her skull now falling to the ground as she began to drink from the cool water. Enjoying it for a moment before it slowly raised back up. Turning and looking around just to see where her bay roan stud had gone.

Kronos kept a steady eye on the ruins, ears flickering for any sign of sound or disturbence in the air.

he found himself growing lost in his mind a lot, yet not thinking. As Kronos noticed the moon meeting the highest peak in the stary sky, he rasied his head p before he heard the sound of rusting grass. Kronos however, decided to stay stock still as he heard freak nickerr to him and take a drink from the refreshing water. He walked over to the mare once the noice of water moving stopped.

Kronos pushed his body lovingly agaisnt the mare, before bending his thick, short neck and taking a few great gulps, marvelling in the refreshed feeling that sweeped along the stallions body. Once Kronos looked up at the sky once more, he looked over to Freak, a question circling his mind before he finally asked her, taking a deep breath in anticipation.

"I was thinking that we should head back to a herd soon. If you wouldn't mind could we go to mine? I would rather not be without safety through these lands, for danger will sence the young one and make the night much harder. I would not wish to wait for to long in case an ill fait shall land on us out here." he said, eyes glues to the water slowly rippling in the breeze, eyes shifting between it and the mare beside him as embarasment flooded him at the half attempt to bring a mare and young one home.

Freak felt so much better being able to wander through this place with a bit of happiness upon her mug. Flickering his banner around at her haunches before she found her eyes drifting onto Kronos' pelt. Feeling his figure press right up against hers. Grinning as she reached over towards him and nipped at his withers playfully. Watching for a moment as he seemed to have zoned out into another world.


Words had then entered her thorns as he seemed rather out into the world. He seemed very concerned about the world around them and of course Freak did like that about him. Caring for her and the child that they were to have. It was something she liked about the stag truly. Grinning as she gazed at him with a soft smile. "You know that I will follow you where ever you take us. And yes I do mean us." She said with a soft smile upon her mug as she gazed at him.

Knowing that she would have gone back into season by now if she was not pregnant. An she had shown no signs for a while now since they had their fun moment. Grinning from ear to ear as she hoped that it was true and that Kronos would be a happy father. That was all she really wanted was a happy stallion by her side. Though of course she waited to see just what his reaction would be. Hoping that it would be something good so that she would feel much better. Though of course she knew that he would be pleased with her. It just comes down to the fact she was going to have a foal and would have to make sure she had a good place to have it at.

Kronos listened to Freak's owrds as they danced along to his ears, shoulder quivering as if a bug had landed on it shortly after Freak had nipped her. As the wrds 'us' his Kronos, he almost froze, looking over at Freak with wide, eyes. A grin quickly covered his face, eyes filling with hope and joy before tears slowly spilt over the edges and slid down his checks. Kronos couldn't keep his eyes from sliding towards the mare's belly before they flickered once more to her face.

"D... Does this mean you are expecting? we actually do have a young one to come?" Joy laced his words like grass billowing through a strong wind. Kronos wrapped his neck over top of Freaks, a giddy feeling filling him to the tip of his tail. Tears still streamed silently down the stallions face, breathing deep to try and clear some of his emotion, Kronos cracked his eyes open ever so slightly to watch the mare under his neck.

Kronos found himself thinking over all the things he knew about foals. There really wasn't much for he never staid in a herd for long but he sort of knew what they could be like, always stumbling onto a stray pair of young ones or tiny herd filled with children, Kronos thought of all the work he would have to do yet how he wouldbe able to have more with Freak if he wished, growing his herd with Lucifer is he ever wished.

Freak looked over to the stallion with a smirk as she watched his reaction. Wondering just what he was going to do. His eyes had moved along her figure and stopped right upon her barrel. With a smile shining upon her mug as he began to speak. Taking in his terms as he said, 'D. . .Does this mean you are expecting? We actually do have a young one to come?' Oh how she was so happy to see the sight of the stallions face as he was so excited about what he had told her.

"Yes, love, that does mean we will have a little one running around. If my scent has not drove you nuts inside again by now then yes."

She said with a smile as he made his way over to her. Wrapping his skull around her boa as he was such in a better mood now that this was a little one on the way. Her skull turning as she placed her velvet like nose upon his and seeing the tears from his face. Knowing that he was excited and all, but did not seem to be the one to get all emotional even though you could see he was trying to get himself back together.


"My big man have a weak spot for a little one?" 

Her words teased into his thorns as she knew that he would like that one. An of course what stallion would not like his children?There are some stallions out there truly did not like the sight of foals, but then there were the dark stallions who loved their children. Knowing that they would carry on their genes and the lessons that they had been taught.

Kronos realised that Freak was right, a strong moter like scent was strating to fill his nose, almost blotting out other smells once focussed on. As he gave his head a tiny shake, Kronos blotted the smell out surprisingly easily. Once Freak's remark reached his ears he raised his head in mock surprise and hurt, before bringing it back down to rest their velvet like noses against each others.

"But of course, and he shall be the strongest one of them all." He murmured before pressing his head a little firmer against the mares but stil gently. Kronos backed up a step before looking over the hill towards the ancient castle ruins, ears perked and body looking for any signes of danger. "I believe it might be time to head back once more m love. We do not want to get stuck out here once the wolves get braver." he said, glancing at the mare very close o him and the ruins, eyes flicking to try and keep an eye on all.

as the calming air brought a safe smell, kronos allowed his head to move slightly lower to the ground in relaxation but kept his ears perked for new sounds and nostrils flared as the odd smell of rain danced through him.
