Personality: Night Star can sometimes be a hard ass. She comes off as rough around the edges to unfamiliar equines but its only because she is protective of herself and Sheredon. Though a big part of that has been softened by her love, as he likes to take care of her but some parts of Night Star might not ever change. She is rather good with sensing danger through her hooves, oddly enough. She can almost feel the vibrations of incoming intruders, predators and other equines. Once you get to know her however she is one of the sweetest mares you will meet. Night Star has a few motherly instincts from raising Savannah and Caton alongside Sheredon. She truly cares about those who are close to her and will do anything to protect them. True to her lead mare instincts. Sometimes she can be stubborn but Sheredon has tried to soften that side of her and in some ways it has worked. Her heart belongs to, and will always belong to the relationship that never should have been, her forever mate, Sheredon.
History: Night Star's life started as a dark and dreary one full of sadness and death. Her so called father, or more.. sperm donor as she called him, had forcebred to her mother.. Creating none other then Night Star. Because of her mom getting pregnant to an outside of the herd stallion she was kicked from the only place she had known, forced to live with the horrible dun stag that bred her, the stag called Doc. Those ten months were horrible, she wanted nothing else but to end her life, but couldn't live with killing her only unborn foal.
The day Night Star was born, there was only a single star in the sky, hence her name.
That night was a dark one. Doc had only wanted a son, but when a filly was born he went into a mad rampage and killed her mother, only for Night Star to slip away into the shadows before he could finish her too. The young filly was scared and confused but stumbled into a neutral blooded herd for protection, unknowing of what she found she had looked up to all the equines around her and tried to stay strong, despite being only hours old. Luckily, the herd had a mare whom had lost her foal that same night due to premature birth.
Night Star was then raised with that herd until she was a year old and decided to go explore the world.
For the next three years she wandered the lands around her. She loved being alone and became a pretty tough mare for her age. She had delt with many envious but really her mission in life was to end the wrath of her heartless father, Doc. However, somehow she always seemed to miss him, sometimes by only mere moments. What she didn't know at the time was that Doc was looking for her too, wanting to finish her for good.
Shortly after her fourth birthday she came across a newly formed pure herd. The lead who had claimed the place, was Sheredon. A handsome young stud. However, to Night Star it was just a safe place to stay for a while. She was very cautious at first, always staying up at night to patrol the borders and keep watch, it was her instincts from being alone for so long. Soon after a year had passed Sheredon had fell in love with a mare named Summer and Night Star was named the Beta mare. She had always looked to Sheredon as a great leader and friend, but when Summer got pregnant her feelings began to change. Slowly, the beta began to have feelings for Sheredon even with knowing that he was already taken.
Though, the day Summer gave birth to Sheredon's foal was a game changer. The foal named Apollo was born disabled and Summer fled to the woods to keep her son from the rest of the herd, and Sheredon. Night Star took the opportunity to get to know Sheredon on a more personal level. Quickly, due to the traumatic situation between Summer, Sheredon and their son; Night Star grew closer and closer to Sheredon. Deep feelings evolved for him and she became rather confused about it all, but still couldn't keep herself away from him. Quickly, they became inseparable.
Time came for Sheredon to choose his current mate, Summer or Night Star to be his new mate, and in the end Night Stars dreams came true. Sheredon was hers and her heart was whole, filled with the deep love for Sheredon. He turned Night Star soft, made her heart melt. Previously, she couldn't really stand foals, nevermind ever even thinking about her own, however after Sheredon adopted in a filly named Savannah that the leads evil brother had left to die, Night Stars heart began to change.
Eventually, Sheredon and Night Star had their own foal, a handsome colt named Caton.
Their life was good, full of ups and downs, wars, hardships and loss. Though the love between the mates never changed. Now that they are older their herd had depleted. Those who were left were now under the rule of Caton and Savannah.
The leads decided they would like to see the world together for a bit, to explore and just be together. Thus, now Night Star and Sheredon are traveling together as loners among the lands.
