Personality: Kali is naïve and young, she is also dumb to the ways of the loners. She is very trusting to anyone who is around her and is very innocent. She doesn’t know much outside of her old herd lands and what her sister taught her, and that was very little outside of having fun. She is very friendly and curious, though that sometimes gets her in more trouble than she is ready for. Her trusting attitude was what made her leave the herd with her sister, and she does not recognize bad from good so it’s easy to take advantage of the mare. She has a lot to learn, but once she learns she could be a very nice companion and a lifelong friend. 

History: Kali grew up in a big herd, to parents who treasured her since she was born. They also had a two year old daughter, Vesta, who quickly took over a lot of her care. The two were basically inseparable since the day Kali was born, always found playing together. There was no sibling rivalry between the two, they basically never fought, and if you saw one you would always find the other close behind.

Vesta was never truly happy in the herd, even with her sister, and always wanted to do new things and see new places. She had an appetite for adventure that could not be met in the confines of a herd. For weeks, Vesta tried to talk her sister into leaving but Kali was reluctant. She was young and she loved her family, and she loved her herd life. She was content to stay here forever, to start a family and be close to others. One day while she and Vesta were out playing, Vesta ran off into the woods and Kali followed. It was a trap to get her sister away from the group, and they couldn’t find their way back. Vesta had gotten exactly what she had wanted, like she always did.

As time went on the two continued with their journey and it was rather uneventful. While walking or playing Kali would always see a golden stallion though, constantly watching over them and staring at her sister. She thought nothing of it, and put it in the back of her mind. Until one night her sister left to get a drink, and she never returned to where they were laying. Kali searched for days, and refused to leave that spot in hopes her sister would return. 

Vesta never returned, and that was over six months ago. Now Kali wanders hopelessly, not sure what to do with herself. She is confused and lonely, and hate the life she leads. She lives with the regret of never telling her sister about the stallion she noticed, the one she later found out they called Doc. She also regrets ever leaving the herd, and lives in fear now that she is constantly alone. She hopes she will be reunited with her sister, or be able to get revenge on the stallion that took her sister away from her. She is searching for a friend now, anything to get her through this life as she barely knows what she is doing.
