The large black and grey stallion continued on his destination, knowing that he would find the place he would call his soon. He had been looking for a year now, but his standards were high and nothing quite stuck out to him. Nothing really screamed home. The place would have to be perfect, and it would have to look inviting and safe to all other equines who would want to pass by and possibly join his future home. He had passed by many wonderful places, and now he found himself in the mountain valleys, but none were what he was looking for. The large stag knew that once his dark eyes landed upon the place he would know it was where he was supposed to be, so he hadn't given up his yet. Ryder's large hooves carried him forward, the soft thudding rhythmic as he walked an even pace, and his brown eyes continued to search for a place he didn't quite know yet. Winter would be coming soon, which meant equines everywhere would be looking for herds to join during the harsh season so he knew he had to find it soon. But the place he found had to provide safety from the elements and constant water supply, and because of his love of waterfalls he wanted one of those there as well. High hopes, but they would be achieved. Though his body was large he walked inbetween the trees with a bit of grace, and though they got a bit denser he did not let that stop him. His large feather-covered hooves made a sharp "Click" noise as they hit rock, and the dense trees leg through a small mountain valley passageway. Curiosity got the best of him, he wanted to know where this rocky path could lead, and he traveled forward with hopes of finding something worth the extra steps. In less than fifty feet the mountain path opened up into a large valley, and the view took the stallion's breath away. In that moment, he knew this new place would be his herd lands. Though not the easiest place to find, he knew horses would find it and hopefully want to call it home as well. And because it wasn't right out in the open it would provide some protection from mountain lions and envious horses. Taking it all in, Ryder knew that his year of searching was more than worth. Before him was a series of caves in the mountains on the valley sides, and at the end was a large waterfall carved on the mountain. Thick vegetation was everywhere, on the face of the mountains and throughout the valley. There were trees to provide cover but a large opening to allow for grazing. And behind the waterfalls were a few caves as well that would be perfect for privacy when needed. It was the perfect amount of trees, grasslands, caves, water, and protection. He just hoped that everyone who stumbled upon this beautiful place would want to call it home just as quickly as he had wanted to. A content little sigh left his lips as he looked around, shaking his large head happily. "What a beautiful place to call home," He said happily to himself as he looked around once more. Now he just had to wait for more horses to come. Happily Ryder trotted over to the waterfall, taking a quick drink. It seemed it emptied into a spring that was nestled in the mountain, which meant it wouldn't flood either. This place really was perfect. He lifted his head and headed up the side to a cave that overlooked the whole valley, this would be his cave. A place he would probably look over his whole herd once they joined. "Now I just wait..."

Beautiful as the Moon.
A slight smirk pulled at the mare's lips as she ran gracefully through the dense forest. Weaving in and out between the trees and jumping over objects in the way, it was like she's been through these forests before many times. She ran hard, not even breaking a sweat, but enjoying herself. Her silver mane and tail flew behind her effortlessly, her coat shining every now and then from the sun showing through the opening in the trees. A rich, velvety laugh escaped her vocal chords as she continued, her small frame making its way to god knows where. Just as she was about to jump over a large log, a gust of wind approached her, carrying the scent of another equine. She halted suddenly, her hind legs effortlessly dragging as her front hooves continued to slow down. Her head lifted, she flared her nostrils, taking in the scent fully.
A stallion.
A smile crept on her face again, and her tail lifted in excitement. She followed the scent, her small hooves barely making noise within the bristle beneath her. She came to a passageway surrounded by mountains, and as the forest got darker, the scent got stronger, so her hooves moved faster. Soon, the passageway opened up, and she took in the sight of the beautiful valley, only to turn her stare to the stallion that was there.
'Hmmm. He's alone. Odd. He must be new.'
She thought to herself as she continued forward to meet him. Her dappled grey coat glistened as the sun hit it, it's light reflecting against the light dapples that covered it. With her head high, tail lifted, and a mischievous grin on her face, she gracefully trotted to him, stopping just in front of him, and proceeded to circle him, eyeing him up and down in a flirtatious manor.
"I liiiike you."
A hearty laugh escaped as she eyed him up and down, a twinkle of mischief in her eyes as she flaunts her body around him.
"I'm Asuna. And you're handsome."
She stopped her circling and stood in front of him, her tail lifted and cocked to one side.

Tag-Asuna Words-507 Notes Ryder doesn't know what to think of little Asuna. Could be interesting. haha Your message here
The large stallion was walking around and exploring his new lands, listening devices perked in curiosity as he walked around the new area. The more time he spent in here the more he loved, and more he felt at home and like he truly did belong here. Of course there were no other yet, but he was sure they would be coming soon. And he could be patient, he when the only thing he wanted to do was share these beautiful lands with other friendly equines. It wasn’t until he took in a deep breath, large nostrils flaring, that he caught the scent of another equine. It wasn’t far off and the smell was that of a mare, and the large brute got excited. Maybe it would be someone to join the herd, or at least someone to just socialize with would also be fun and exciting. Ryder was always up for a good conversation, and he just hoped that the mare wouldn’t be put off by his large size. His dark brown optics watched as a small dappled grey mare waltzed in, confidence seeming to ooze off her. And she was beautiful, and much much smaller than him. Most equines were smaller than him though, but she just seemed much more fragile and smaller. A smile was on his face as she came up to him, obviously not bothered by his large size, and before he could actually greet her the mare was speaking. A soft, deep chuckle bubbled from his lips at what she said, she had quite the amount of confidence and was quite flirty as well. And the way she just flaunted her body, well it would make many stallions want her. And he knew that if she got around the wrong horses that it could end up very very bad for her. But he was not a bad horse and did not think of such things, just thought that the conversation they were about to have was going to be an interesting one at least. “Well thank you Asuna. Such a beautiful name for such a beautiful mare. You don’t even know me though, but if you would like to stay for a while I would love to get to know you. I have recently claimed these lands as my own and I am looking for others to join. Or if herds aren’t your thing then it would just be a pleasure to get to know you,” The stallion said in his velvet voice as he looked down at the mare. The little mare reminded him of a summer breeze; strong and relieving, yet completely random and sometimes it would put you in a whirlwind. She just seemed like that kind of mare, one that would always surprise you and keep it interesting. And she was a flirt, and sometimes those weren’t always the best mares to be around. But right now he just wanted members and nice equines to spend time with, and he would see exactly where it took him. template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

/Well thank you Asuna. Such a beautiful name for such a beautiful mare. You don’t even know me though, but if you would like to stay for a while I would love to get to know you. I have recently claimed these lands as my own and I am looking for others to join. Or if herds aren’t your thing then it would just be a pleasure to get to know you./
A hearty laugh escaped Asuna's vocal chords at the stag's sweet words. Her eyes flitted to him again, amused by his size and demeanor.
"Compliments, compliments.."
She muttered as she paced the grounds around them, nonchalantly sniffing at things and flaunting her body as she spoke.
"Hmm. Well I simply don't know, handsome. How do I know you're not going to attack me? Like you said, I don't even know you."
She spoke quietly in a soothing voice, almost like talking to a baby, but she spoke in a sarcastic tone, always joking around. It seemed she could never be serious, but she really wasn't sure if she wanted to be part of a herd life. She kind of liked wandering around, finding different stallions to mess around with. Deep down though, she knew she would want to figure herself out and join a herd eventually. She wanted love, she needed love, but her thoughts and actions simply wouldn't allow herself to have that. She was too much of an actress. She had faked everything and acted so much that her confidence and flirting started become natural, and made up her life.
"So do you have a name, or do you want me to keep calling you handsome? Because I can do that."
A quick sentence and a smile full of charm knocked her thoughts out as she spoke again, clearly trying to avoid the subject of her possible joining his herd, because she honestly didn't know what to think about it yet.

Ryder watched Asuna, the amusement clear in her eyes. She didn’t know if this was an act, a play, or this was how the mare truly acted. Such personality and spunk in such a small horse, and her confidence never wavered around him. That surprised him quite a bit, he was twice her size and most horses were intimidated by his size. The way she flaunted her body around though, he was quite surprise that she hadn’t found herself with a foal. She didn’t look old enough to have already had a foal that had grown and left, but you never knew. “I guess you’ll just have to trust me then beautiful. I mean, if I wanted to hurt you it could have already been done. I have no intent on hurting anyone, I just want horses to join my herd. I offer wonderful protection and beautiful lands,” He said easily, his deep voice smooth and velvet-like. A cute little mare like her would be a nice addition to his herd, and he was sure that she would be friendly and happily greet other horses that would be looking at joining. “Of course my name, my name is Ryder. I am terribly sorry about that. If you want to keep calling me handsome I will answer that as well,” he said with a small chuckle as he watched her. He hoped she did stay, not just because he wanted more members but because he also thought she would be fun to have around and get to know. He believed there was more to her than what was showing as well, he knew that there had to be something under all the flirting and the confidence. Or maybe not, but then she would still be a cheery and positive horse to have in the herd. “If you don’t want to stay as a herd member you can just stay for a bit, I know I would like to have a conversation with another horse and I hope I can keep you slightly entertained at least,” The large stallion in a smooth voice as his brown eyes never left her. She seemed like she had had her fair share of smooth talkers, but he was hoping she would at least said yes for a little bit. template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

/'I guess you’ll just have to trust me then beautiful. I mean, if I wanted to hurt you it could have already been done. I have no intent on hurting anyone, I just want horses to join my herd. I offer wonderful protection and beautiful lands.'/
Asuna marveled at him as he spoke, becoming more and more intrigued by the minute. She laughed aloud, a small flirtatious giggle.
"You seem pretty confident, handsome. Hey, do you know what they say about the big stallions? That they have bigger..."
She waited for a response, humor in her eyes as she played her little games.
"Hooves. They have bigger hooves. I assume that's what you were going to guess, correct?"
She laughed and continued prancing around, sniffing at random stuff but keeping an eye on the big brute.
"Ryder, eh? I don't know, I kinda like handsome better."
She stated, finding a random apple on the ground and swiping it up into her mouth quickly.
/'If you don’t want to stay as a herd member you can just stay for a bit, I know I would like to have a conversation with another horse and I hope I can keep you slightly entertained at least.'/
She quickly stopped to face him again, for once her body to a stand-still.
"Oh? Well, what did you have in mind?"
A wink and a smirk gave off her flirtatious vibe, to the point where she seemed over the top. She did like this stallion. He was large, handsome, and seemed to be kind, but she couldn't let her guard down, especially with his size and her being so small. She wondered if any other horse would find this place, as it was slightly hidden, and visioned a full, thriving herd here. She saw a foal by her side in her vision and quickly snorted in disgust, her face clearly showing that she was upset. She quickly glanced back at Ryder and wondered what his story was.

Words: 436 Notes He's already thinking dirty, oh Asuna what are you doing to him.? hahaha. Oh Ryder be good.
Ryder’s brown eyes watched her in fascinated amusement, it seemed that her flirting never stopped. And she just kept going, not ever phased or hesitant to flaunt herself or throw another flirtatious comment out. He listened quietly to what she had to say, his face showing the obvious shock when she said something about large stallions. Of course hid mind automatically went the wrong place, because he was a stallion and he had a bunch of testosterone pumping through his system to make him think like that, but then what she said was completely different than what he had been thinking. “Hooves? Really…I don’t think that was what you were hinting at. I’m twice your size pretty lady, I’m not sure if I’m the type of stallion you’d like to be flirting with,” He said in a quiet rumble of a voice, watching her with amusement still in his eyes. Asuna was so small compared to him, he felt that if he even touched her wrong he would hurt her. He was a large stallion, a really large one, and sometimes he actually hated his size. He like to befriend others and get to know horses, but a lot of horses didn’t like to get to know him because they thought he was “scary”. Obviously Asuna was not, but he was still more cautious around smaller horses. “Well I suppose I could get use to handsome if you really don’t want to call me Ryder. But I would probably answer to anything you called me,” He said back in his own flirtatious little voice as he smiled and then winked at her. He thought he might as well have fun with this while she was here, because he didn’t think it would really last. With her attitude and actions, she didn’t seem like the mare that stuck around. Or maybe he would be surprised and she would stay, making that his first member. “Oh I don’t know. I could show you around the lands, you could tell me a little bit about yourself, we could learn things about each other. Anything really until you make a decision on whether or not you’d like to stay,” he said easily as he looked down at her. He loved his lands already, in his eyes they were perfect, and he would l’ve to show her at all. The caves and the apple tree groves and the wonderful waterfalls. Even the caves behind the waterfalls, which her hidden off unless you went and saw them. The large grey stallion waited for her reply, hoping it would be a good one. template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

/"'...I’m twice your size pretty lady, I’m not sure if I’m the type of stallion you’d like to be flirting with,”'/
Asuna watched the large brute as he spoke, watching every muscle flex and pull as he used them. It fascinated her, the little things that could make such a huge difference in the way others perceive what you're trying to say.
"Is that a threat, handsome?"
She said jokingly, followed with a little giggle. She was having fun playing games with him, and was happy that he was playing along too. She winked at him as he flirted back with her, a smile spread across her muzzle.
"Maybe you can show me around? I doubt you'd want to get to know me, I'm pretty boring."
Though she was joking around, she kind of felt like it was true. She didn't really think much of herself, personality-wise. When it came down to getting to know another equine, it was hard for her. She didn't know how to talk about herself, let alone, where to start on how to talk about herself. There really wasn't much happiness to her story, so it was just best to keep things vague. Memories flooded her mind as she waited for him to show her around. She already knew at this point that she was going to stay. The internal struggle within her mind had stopped, and she had finally come upon the decision of trying to settle down and change herself, as hard as that may be. Her head tossed around, taking in the sight of what may be her forever home now.

Ryder shook his head at her question, smiling softly. “No threats beautiful. Simply saying if you’re flirting was to ever lead to something more with a stallion, I’m quite large and you are quite small. Just something to think about in the future. But threats, I’m not that type of stallion,” he said easily as she looked down at her. He hadn’t meant it in that way, though he could see how it could be taken that way. Especially with the way she had been talking.
“Oh I highly doubt you are boring my dear, but I will gladly show you around my herd lands,” The stallion said easily before he started forward around the herd lands. He glanced around, not really sure where to start. “Well obviously this is the meadow which will hopefully be filled with more horses soon, and that big cave over there is mine so I can watch over all the horses once there are more. And the waterfalls are my favorite, because I just love the sound and the sight of them,” He said easily as he walked through his lands. He explained it just as he saw it in the future, because he had such high hopes.
He also imagined a little draft cross foal by his side whenever he found a mate, but he wasn’t sure when that would ever happen. Or if it would ever happen. But he mainly imagined horses, a lot of them, filling his lands and filling this place with happiness. “Follow me,” He said suddenly before pulling playfully on her mane and then cantering forward. Though large the stallion was graceful as he ran, before he ran straight through the water and it splashed up everywhere. He made sure she was following before running through the waterfall, coming into the secret cave behind it.
“And this is the little secret cave behind the waterfalls which I already love. I mean…so many things could happen behind the concealing waterfall,” He said in a teasing manner as he nipped playfully at her neck. He might be pushing it, but after everything she had said he thought she would take it all well at least. Or he hoped so, because he couldn’t lose a member when he wasn’t even sure if she was staying.

/"No threats beautiful. Simply saying if you’re flirting was to ever lead to something more with a stallion, I’m quite large and you are quite small. Just something to think about in the future. But threats, I’m not that type of stallion,"/
Asuna was surprised at his response. Especially because he kind of hit a home run with what happened to her in the past. Flashes of bad memories popped into her head and for a moment, all she could see was flesh mashed together and a cut down her pelt, and all she could hear was the sound of her own screams and her pounding heart. She frowned, a sad look covering her face as she thought about the unborn foal that she had lost due to a forcebreeding. Ryder's voice cut through her bad thoughts and all of her attention was focused on him again, covered with a forced flirtatious smile. She followed him as he showed her around, and hearing the excitement in his voice as he talked about the future and what he wanted to see as a lead stallion, made her happy. It had been awhile since she had seen and talked to someone with such a pure heart like his. She could see, as he paused, that he was deep in thought, or off in lala land, and it pleased her even more to know that he cared so deeply about the success of his own herd. She soon felt a playful tug on her mane and Ryder telling her to follow him, which she quickly did, throwing her head and laughing in an attempt to play back with him. She followed him through the water, which he ever-so-gracefully splashed, all over her body. She snorted loudly, shaking her wet pelt out and burrowing her brow and letting out a devious smirk, giving him a 'I'm going to get you back' look. She followed him underneath the waterfall, glancing around as she entered a hidden cave. At this point, she started to get nervous. Enclosed in a small, dark, place with a huge stallion she just met was not something she necessarily wanted to do, and even if she thought he had a pure heart, she knew with her own experience, that anything could happen.
/“And this is the little secret cave behind the waterfalls which I already love. I mean…so many things could happen behind the concealing waterfall,”\
She knew he was joking and it was in all good manor, but her anxiety grew as she thought about what could happen. She didn't want the same thing to happen to her with Ryder as it did with an Envious awhile ago. Her breathing and heart beat accelerated as she glanced frantically around, the whites of her eyes starting to show with fear. She didn't really know that she was afraid of the dark until this moment, if that was all that it was. A sweat broke out onto her already wet pelt as she pawed the ground, finally forcing herself to speak.
"I gotta get out of here. I'm sorry.. I just.. I can't."
And she bolted out, the water cooling her off as she splashed everywhere in a frantic attempt to escape. She had never really felt like this before. It was weird, strange, and she felt so weak, embarrassed. Tears escaped down her face as she ran, stopping at the edge of the herd lands and throwing her head against a tree, trying to slow her breaths and calm herself down. She couldn't believe that she just did that in front of a stallion. Miss perfect, miss confident. Well, she sure didn't feel confident as of the moment. She hoped he wouldn't come talk to her. She was a mess, and she really didn't want him to see her like this, especially since she had started to like him. And though she was used to running away so much, she didn't. She stayed within his lands. She knew that she wanted to join, but she was scared now that she had ruined every chance of doing that. No stallion wants a bi-polar mare in their herd..

Words: 603 Notes Ryder is feeling all terrible and sad that he upset her. And the guilt sets in...
Ryder thought everything was going well, he really did, but once they got in the cave it was clear that something was making Asuna nervous. The large stallion never thought about it, but maybe a dark cave wasn’t the smartest place to bring a mare he just met no matter how much he liked the caves. They were cozy, they smelt like water, and it was just peaceful and secluded back here, but to her it much be something much scarier. He would never do such a terrible thing to a mare, he never even had thoughts like that, but Asuna wouldn’t know that and who knew what was going through her mind. "Asuna I’m not like I swear…” He started, but not only did she seem to not be listening, but then she could tell his little joke had not been taken well at all as he could see her get scared. Really scare and then he began to feel terribly guilty, guiltier than he already did anyway. And before he could even try to make it better, before he could apologize or calm her down, she muttered she had to leave and bolted off. The large stallion didn’t even know what to do, he felt so terrible right now. One member and he had already lost her because he decided to bring her to his cave and make a raunchy joke. In his defense she had been making inappropriate jokes since he met her, how was he supposed to know that that would bother her so much? He couldn’t know, but at the same time he still felt terrible. He had to of just broken the record for having a herd member for the shortest amount of time, he doubted that someone could screw up as much as he just managed too. And he didn’t know if he could fix what had happened to make her trust him again, or if she was even still around. When she ran away she could have just left, he wouldn’t even blame her at this point. Finally, after a long time of just standing there and beating himself up, he walked out from the waterfall and trudged through the water. His head was down low in a defeated look, clearly upset what had happened, before he finally looked up. His brown eyes landed on the petite little figure of Asuna, and he got a little hopeful. She hadn’t left him yet, but he wasn’t sure if he could go over there and talk to her. Finally, when he hoped she wasn’t so upset, he hesitantly walked over to the mare. Making sure he gave her a lot of room, not wanting to get to close to her since she seemed pretty upset still. “Asuna…I’m so sorry. I…can’t even express how terribly I feel. We were joking around and I didn’t mean to take it that far, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for my terrible mistake. I meant nothing by it, expect the part I like that cave but for reasons not related to my joke. I would never do such a thing to you or any mare, I am not like that. The only foals being made should be consensual foals, force breeding is a terrible thing and will never be tolerated in these herd lands. I hope you can find some way to forgive me and possibly still stay,” Ryder said, his voice filled with sadness. He was desperate for her to forgive him, because he quite liked her company and didn’t want her to leave. template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

Beautiful as the Moon.
[smear:300377]
The small mare waited in silence, her brain racking through different ways she could have handled that situation. 'Stupid' was the main word she was using at this moment, and she still couldn't believe she did that, especially to a stallion she just met. He was probably going to think she was crazy for the rest of her time here. She didn't want to leave, so she stayed put, her head lowered to the ground in embarrassment. She stayed like that quite awhile until she heard hoofbeats and Ryder's voice again. /'“Asuna…I’m so sorry. I hope you can find some way to forgive me and possibly still stay,”'/ A tear escaped as she listened to him talk, the horrible memories flooding back. And she realized right then and there that she wasn't as strong as she thought she was. Being vulnerable and helpless like she was, was new, strange, and difficult to process. She had gone through her whole life after her loss just faking being strong and confident, it felt weird for her to cry again, to be upset again. She listened to his words, her head still low to the ground. His words were soothing to her ears, and it cleared out her head as she listened. A smile pulled at her lips as she lifted her head and faced him, reaching her neck up to his and resting her forehead against his muscled neck. Another strange situation. She didn't feel at all angry or upset anymore. Instead, she listened to the stallion's words, words that actually soothed her. For once, she believed that what this stallion said, was the truth and that he meant it. She kind of looked up to him now, not only because she was so small and he was so big, but in a sense, he made her feel safe, almost like a big brother. "You did nothing wrong. It was me. I overreacted and pushed myself to the point of breaking.." She paused, wondering if she had it in her to talk about her past and her experiences. She had never talked about it before to anyone. It had just been all locked up inside herself all of this time. She sighed, continuing on. "Force breeding is a terrible thing, and I'm glad that you do not tolerate it.." She couldn't do it, not just yet. She couldn't open up. It felt so strange to her. "I want to stay, but only if you'll still have me." She lifted her head again, turning to look up to him to await his response.

A young filly practically bounced into the clearing. Not by purpose, more by a happy accident. However, when she took in her surroundings, she stopped. Even in the dead of winter, this place was more beautiful than she ever could have imagined. Charity trotted forward and placed a hoof on the frozen over spring, then stamped on it a bit. Cracking noises could be heard, and tiny cracks surged into larger ones. She nickered slightly and lapped up from the water that flowed between. It was ice cold of course, but refreshing in the warmer day. Or perhaps it wasn't warmer, her coat was just a little thicker than it was last year. Either way, she was happy. Whoever owned this place, perhaps they would let her stay here. Or perhaps no one did, and she could claim the land as her own, and start her own herd. That sounded amazing. She could imagine standing on the overlook above the spring, the valley filled with horses. Light, dark, mixed, anyone who wanted to stay and rest. They could all graze together and get along. Simple dreams, but oh..they made her eyes light up for joy. She began to prance haughtily, lost in her own imagination. Her tail lifted up, her neck was raised high, and she was happier than she had been in quite a while.

Words: 550 Notes Ryder might be falling, and now his herd is growing! yaya. Your message here
Ryder waited for her reply, wondering if Asuna would forgive him or not want anything to do with him ever again. He wouldn’t blame her, his joke was completely out of line. It was fine for mares to joke, but he knew as a stallion that he couldn’t do that. Especially in a tight place and he was so much bigger than her, it wouldn’t take a lot for it to be done. Just that thought repulsed him though, he could never do such a thing. If he was ever going to have a foal, it was going to be with his mate. And any stallion who stepped on his lands and tried that wouldn’t be walking for much longer. The stallion sighed softly as she rested her forehead on his neck, relaxing a little as he bent his neck and touched her gently with his muzzle. His touch was hesitant, he didn’t want to scare her or make her think he was going to do anything. Ryder would have to be careful around her from now on, he didn’t want to lose her from the herd. As irrational as it sounded, he liked her and it was more than just friends. He would have to push back such feelings though, because he was trying to start a herd and it was clear she had something emotional going on with her. “No no, I will make sure I do not joke like that again. It was wrong of me and I know that. If any stallion ever tries even harming a mare, or anyone, on these lands they won’t get much farther. You are completely safe within my herd, I promise,” The grey stallion said with ease, his voice soothing as he stood beside her. “And of course I will still have you. I would love for you to join my herd, as my very first member. And if you ever need to talk about anything Asuna, or even need anything, I will always be here for you,” Ryder added, trying to hide the overwhelming joy as she agreed to stay. He couldn’t believe he already had his first member. And a beautiful mare at that. As he stood there a scent filled his nostrils though, the scent of another equine. “I think someone is here, I must go see. I’ll be back,” Ryder promised before stepping back, his muzzle touching her comfortingly once more before trotting off towards the foreign smell. It didn’t take long before his eyes landed on that of an unfamiliar equine, another mare, and a small smile graced his lips as he watched her. She was also quite beautiful, and she seemed like such a happy mare. “Well hello, my name is Ryder and I am the leader of these herds you have found. May I ask your name? Are you looking for a home or are you looking for just a place to stop and stay for a bit?” The stallion asked, his voice kind yet serious. He didn’t want to drop his guard, even if it was a mare, because any horse could do anything. Until he found out more about her and her intentions, his main goal was to stay aware so he could keep Asuna and his lands safe and secure. template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

Charity took a deep breath, hearing another voice. She swung her neck around to the source of the noise and scent, then turning her entire body. "My name is Charity. I would like to make this place my home..if it's okay with you." She studied the large stallion, finding him handsome. "I could prove useful. I try to help, anyways. I'm not a terrible fighter. I'm pretty scary." She neighed happily, her pitch almost sounding like a high laugh. It depended on the soul who listened, it could be endearing or grating. Taking that he wouldn't mind, she started to nudge the snow away, munching on the dead grass underneath. She was hungry, since food had been scarce through her travels. Most mares had built up extra weight for the winter, but she hadn't yet. There was still time, though. Grass was still available if you looked, and the snow wasn't that deep yet. "Perhaps," She said, between bites, "I could even be the lead mare one day. I think I'd look good, up there in that cave. And people like to listen to me, or at least..I think they would. I'm a bit mixed, but nothing bad..I would say that I'm the best of both worlds."
((Hehe, I forgot to mention, she can be sort of..arrogant. cx))
