Personality: Nila can be playful and flirty sometimes as she still has a youngling's heart but at other times, she can display the Envious blood that runs through her veins. She has grown up to be rebel authority or at least have a strong disdain for it and her strength when “play” fighting can be a little rough at times. She does not find comfort in social groups like other horses and does not yearn for a mate. Recently, she has but one goal and one goal only and in order to achieve the goal, she does and displays the necessary behavior to finish her objective.
History: Born in the Star Valley herd , Nila was originally raised by her mother Xia, a Light/Pure mare, and grew up with Liang who was her adopted older brother. Her father was unknown to her, but whenever she asked Xia the question, she was left with a "when it is time she would find out" answer.
However, she discovered who her father was, by accident, when she ventured too far from the herd. Doc was the name of the stallion that claimed to be her father but to this day, she does not remember the physical aspects of the male. All she can remember is his name and that he was a Dark/Envious stallion. Nila never took the news of her father well, but did not ask her mother more about it because she was afraid of the answers. It then became too late when her Aunt Zai took her revenge on Xia where the fight ended with Zai's victory and Xia's passing.
Liang took her under his care after this, along with his mate, Molly. Nila left the Star Valley herd with the two and did not look back once. She has always felt bad about the small rebellion she gave her mother right before her passing and Nila has not forgiven herself since then. Liang, acting as the older brother, tried to include her in the joys of life, however, she found this to be more a bother than help. His daughter, Lillyan, was born about a year after her and she was similar to her father. It was odd how the filly took after her mother in colors and coat but her father in personality. The thought of an offspring taking after their sire made Nila shudder and reject the possibility.
She grew up with Lillyan as sisters rather than an aunt and a niece. However, the filly found no enjoyment from the nothing tasks that they partook in. Everything that happened in that "paradise" that Liang had found was just empty for her. Two years had passed before she left her adopted older brother and his mate, but she still found herself astray on multiple topics of life. It was then when she stumbled upon Avernia and took the chance to discover things there.
