ADDED: 4/7/2014. A new marking has been added thanks to a fight with Bones' father, a soft ball sized hairless pink area on his right rib cage from a bite/kick wound suffered that took a long time to heal.

Loves: Fighting, having a good time, sunny warm weather, playing in the water.
Hates: Anyone who picks a fight with him, or ticks him off. Once you 'betray' him once, he has no respect for you. Very unforgiving.
Personality: He's quite a gentleman, he's kind and cares a lot about the things that matter most to him. He doesn't think hes any 'looker' of a stud, but he is. Tall dark and handsome, to say the least. Though, he doesn't have super huge muscles, his legs and hooves are his strong fighting point. Slade doesn't have that big 'I'm good looking' ego. Sometimes he has a short fused temper, catch him in that moment and you'll know it. He believes in loving only one mare, and that gathering mares for a status symbol is ridicules. He loves foals, but wants to have his own, another horses offspring isn't the same thing as it would be to have his own. He had two failed relationships with mares before, but no foals. He is slow to trust other equines, and once you loose his trust you may never get it back.
History: Born to a mother and father, but when his father fell ill, and their relationship ended, he was adopted by his 'step sire'. Slade grew up with his dam and step sire, and his two sisters. Always a trouble maker, and always disobeying. He never really had a real home as his 'family' was always on the move. His mom was a back stabber, she raised him but once he was old enough to be on his own, he left.
Leaving his family caused him to meet a young filly named Kinzie, they were together for 3 years, but nothing came to be and they went their separate ways. During the time he was with Kinzie he had a few friends in the small herd they lived in. Some were Kinzies family and some were just partners in crime with Slade. EDITED IN: Two of Slades best friends were a quiet, goody two shoes stag named Caruso, and a less then perfect stag named (err insert name when I decide one? lol) After he and Kinzie ended he regretfully said good bye to his pals and headed off for a new life. He hasn't seen them since.
Slade then became more reckless, and picked up his next love from a 'love party' as he will say. They stayed together for a year and were deep into love for each other, but she was reckless as well and together they were always into trouble. One night she went crazy on him, and framed him for beating her. That night Slade knew the life he had with her wasn't good for him. He moved on, and never looked back. Now he travels alone, with many sleepless nights trying to find his place in the world. Befriend him, and you'll have a great friend, as long as you don't betray him.
ADDED 4/7/2014
Slade claimed his pure lands around November of 2013. He slowly began getting members, the first of which was a young draft type filly who got into some trouble. Slade saved her and they quickly fell for each other. However, in the mix up a stag was forced by humans to breed to the young filly. This really ticked off Slade and sent him into a fury with the stallion (Tilney) now Slade has a bad taste for Tilney and feels horrible for Hael, forced to have a foal she didnt ask for. Since the incident many things have happened. Slade had feelings for Hael but couldn't come to terms with being in love with a pregnant mare that wasn't his.
Now his eyes have caught Bones and things are slowly picking up between them.
ADDED 10/28/15
Slade has become mates with Bones. Though, she was very unsure of how she'd handle the position of lead mare. Not long after becoming mates Slade and Bones began the venture of trying for a foal. Getting lucky after Slades previous relationships and failed times at making a foal, this time it worked. Bones became pregnant and they happily had a colt named Slater. It wasn't without issue though as Bones went into labor with Slater while an envious stag (haels dad) was attacking the herd. Slade was fighting Ryuk at the time of Slaters birth and missed the whole thing. Infact he didn't even know she had gone into labor.
Many horses have since joined and Slade is still trying to keep up with all the new additions.
